Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment of Clerks Cadre - 1500 Vacancies


Indian Overseas Bank(http://www.iob.in), one of the leading Public Sector Bank, set up in 1937 with head office in Chennaihas started its recruitment process for filling up 1500 vacant posts in Clerical personnel Grade for the year 2012-2013.
Indian Overseas Bank invites applications for Interview from the candidates who have qualified the common written examination for clerical positions conducted by the Institute for Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in the months of November/December 2011.

Opening date of Online Registration - 29.06.2012
Last date of Online Registration - 14.07.2012

Application Fee – Rs. 20/- for SC/ST/ PC/EXSM, Rs.100/- for Gen/OBC
Probation Period – 6 Months
Interview  Out of the 50 marks, general category candidates need to score 22.50 and SC/ST/ PC/EXSM need to score atleast 20.00 as minimum qualifying marks. Interview will be held in the months of Aug/Sep 2012.
Age Limit -within 18-28years as on 01.08.2011(relaxation apply for SC/ST/PWD)
Educational Qualifications- as on 01.08.2011
Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) or A pass with 60% marks in Diploma in Banking (55% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) or A Pass with 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) in HSC of 10 + 2 (10+2+3) pattern or Intermediate.

Computer Knowledge – Candidates must possess computer literacy or should acquire within 6 months from joining the IOB Bank as Clerk.
